When it comes to protecting the exterior walls and roof of your building, our eastern white cedar shakes are the perfect choice. They are natures best protection, adding curb appeal, value and character to your home. Our shakes are machine sawn in our shop in Corinth, Maine.

Standard Cedar Shake Size

18" Long with a 5/8" Butt

We guarantee our shakes to lay 6" to the weather! Our standard eastern white cedar shake size is 18" long with a 5/8" butt and are available to purchase by the square or by the bundle.

Standard Roof & Wall Grades

Roof Grade - No knots, clear wood in the 6” exposed area used for roofing and siding.
Wall Grade - Only small solid clean knots, or live knots in the 6" exposed area.
Wall Grade #2 - Black or large knots.
Used for siding, if you are looking for the old style rustic look this is the grade you would want.

All our shakes are made using high quality eastern white cedar cut in Maine, from approved FSC harvested timber.
