Our Shingles

Our Shingles are Machine Sawn from top quality Northern Maine Eastern White Cedar. Pine is available

Our standard shingle specifications are: 16 inches long with a 3/8-inch butt, we guarantee our shingles to lay 5 inches to the weather.

Our standard grades are:

Roof Grade Extra Clears: No knots below 12” this is an Extra Clear roofing shingle.

Roof Grade: No knots, clear wood below 5”. This is a Clear side wall shingle

Wall Grade: Only small solid clean knots, or live knots in the 5” exposed area.

Wall Grade II: Black knots, or large knots, suitable for storage buildings, garages, etc. Gives that great old rustic look

All of our shingles are available by the square, or by the bundle. No order is too big, or too small.
