Our Shakes

Our Shakes are Machine Sawn from top quality Northern Maine Eastern White Cedar. Pine is available.

Our standard Shake specifications are: 18 inches long, with a 5/8-inch butt, we guarantee our shakes to lay 6” to the weather.

Our standard grades are:

Roof Grade: No knots just all clear wood in 6” exposed area used for roofing.

Wall Grade: Only small solid clean knots, or live knots in the 6” exposed area.

Wall Grade II: Black knots, or large knots, suitable for storage buildings, garages, etc. Used for siding, if you are looking for the old style rustic look this is the grade you would want.

Custom Sizes are available by special order Custom sizes can be any length up to 24” long, and any thickness desired. All of our shingles are available by the square, or by the bundle. No order is too big, or too small. Samples are available by request: Delivery is always available; we deliver with our own truck. We deliver all over the USA, Canada, and internationally. Call or email for details. We now have " Fire Retardant" available for all roof shingles and shakes.
